摘要
Few studies have examined the experiences of criti-cal care nurses in caring for critically ill obstetric pa-tients; however, preliminary evidence indicates low self-efficacy among nurses. This quasi-experimental pre-/posttest study explored changes in self-efficacy after the provision of real-time education to critical care nurses. There was an increase in self-reported scores after participation in the professional develop-ment program, showing that a single education session has an impact on nursing perceived self-efficacy in the care of this patient population.
