The alloys investigated contained 35% Co (35KFN, 35KKH) and 52% Co (52KF). The final treatment consisted in tempering for one group and thermomechanical treatment (TMT) for the other, involving tempering under uniaxial tensile stresses of 12. 25 and 50 Kg/mm**2. The tempering treatment and TMT consisted in 1 hr at 425, 475, 525, 575 and 625 degree C. The response of the magnetic properties to stresses was assessed with regard to their use in hysteresis motors.
