Managing choice in a disruptive technology

摘要：
Using results from a recent study of firms commercializing MEMS-based products, the efficacy of using a Real Options perspective to manage risk in the area of a disruptive technology is examined. It is shown that areas where the risks are mostly speculative in nature, such as in the area of MEMS-based projects, Real Options and the precepts of risk management show promise for use in managing choice.
