It is stated that massve infusions of more productive equipment and systems together with healthy transfusions of modern management techniques are needed to revitalize the foundry industry. Problems discussed by representatives of Foundry equipment builders and officers of various foundries include the good outlook for casting,automation, elimination of pollution, cost reduction, new foundry equipment, etc.
