A six-axis jointed-arm robot (Manutec r3) takes a printed circuit-board (PCB) from an oven (70 degree C) and inserts it in a test set-up, where it is centred and adjusted from two sides. The industrial robot (IR) then applies a plug-connector with LED scanning unit to the front of the PCB. Adjustment of three potentiometers on the PCB is carried out during the test by means of a motor mounted on the IR gripper.
