摘要
The ion irradiation effects on diamond were studied using Raman spectroscopy technique. A continuous Ar ion laser beam with laser power of about 15 mW was used as exciting radiation. It was observed that the area of virgin diamond Raman band decreased exponentially as the ion fluence increased. It was found that amorphous carbon was formed after a threshold of about 2×1022 vacancies/cm3.
