摘要
A cathodic protection current of not less than 1 mA/cm**2 could cause cathodic disbonding of the protective coating and could form a sufficient concentration of alkali to produce carbonate-bicarbonate SCC. Pipelines cathodically protected at a polarization potential between minus 1000 and minus 1350 mv vs. Cu-CuSO//4 and cathodic current density of less than 1 mA/cm**2 were free from SCC.
