A method of angular momenta is proposed for measuring the demagnetizing factor of ferromagnetic films. Two layer ferromagnetic films of composition 80Ni - 20Fe vertical Si0 vertical 80Ni - 20Fe were prepared by spraying, in 5 multiplied by 10**-**5 mm. Hg, onto glass substrates in the form of discs preheated to 300 degree C. Experimental curves are derived by these means, to describe the demagnetizing factor as a function of the thickness: diameter ratio of the films and a qualitative explanation is given on the basis of the crystalline and magnetic structures.
