摘要
In addition to the development and manufacture of robots, Kobe Steel has been developing various technologies related to FMS (Flexible Manufacturing System). This paper describes the necessary technologies for FMS; an off line teaching system, various kinds of sensors, production management, a monitoring system, etc. Our proposed FMS line configuration and its features are introduced by showing examples of a welding line for industrial machinery parts and a spray painting line.
