摘要
As we are all well aware, Systems Engineering is a diverse field. It is a changing field. It means different things to different people. The words ‘Systems Engineering’ are difficult to define in one phrase that people can agree on and that means something tangible. Given these factors, the task of providing training in Systems Engineering is fraught with difficulty from the outset. Add to that a delegate base from a large, diverse, geographically disparate organisation, and you have quite a challenge. This, however, is the arena in which we work, and this paper describes some of the approaches we have taken and lessons we have learnt in providing Systems Engineering training for the Marconi branch of the General Electric Company over the last few years. © 1999 The Authors.
