Synthesis, structures and properties of two crystalline luminescent materials of isomorphous complexes

摘要
The two isomorphous mononuclear complexes [M(phen)2(H2O)2]·2SIPH2·2H2O (M=Zn, Co) (SIPH2-=5-Sulfoisophthalic anion, phen=1, 10-phenanthroline) were synthesized in the water by the slow solvent evaporation method. In the two complex structural units, the central ions coordinated with two 1, 10-phenanthroline ligands and two water molecules to generate the [M(phen)2(H2O)2]2+ cations. The two free water molecules could connect to the [M(phen)2(H2O)2]2+ cations and the SIPH2- anions to form three-dimensional network structures through the hydrogen bonds. SIPH2- anions could balance the charges. The complexes exhibit the luminescence with emission peaks at 460 nm and 439 nm at room temperature, respectively. Compared with the ligands, their luminescence emission happens obvious red shift. The fluorescence lifetimes are 1.7638 ms and 1.6356 ms, respectively. ©, 2015, Chinese Ceramic Society.
