Study on limits of power frequency electric field on house platform near AC transmission lines

摘要
During the evaluation of electromagnetic environment for high voltage power transmission projects nearby houses, the measurement of power frequency electric field on the house platform and be limited to 4 kV/m was often required. For this situation that the methods of measurement exist but no reference limit value, the experiments of human body direct feeling and transient shocks feeling which including insulated person touching the grounded metal and grounded person touching the insulated metal under different power frequency electric field values were conducted. Considering the direct feeling and possible transient shocks of human body under power frequency electric field, the limit of 7 kV/m at 1.5 m high from the bottom of the house platform where the residents didn't appear frequently was proposed. And the limit of 4 kV/m at 1.5 m high from the bottom of the house platform (include house balcony) where the residents appear frequently was also proposed, which is the same with the limit at the ground of first floor. ©, 2015, Power System Technology Press.
