摘要
The aim of the paper is to analyze the social and ecological consequences of the 'Three canyons' HPS construction. The paper is described mainly by the publications in the Chinese press. The general conclusion is made on the positive influence of the HPS construction on the social and ecological situation in China. In particular it is noted the HPS role in flood protection.
