The mechanical scheme of tube preform deformation in the process of hole mandreling

摘要：
New conceptions on the mechanics of deformation of tube preform by conical mandrel are set forth. Deformation zone is presented in the form of live consecutive parts blended from one to another, on of which is contacted with the die. There are determined geometrical parameters of out-of-contact parts being in elastic and plastic states. The results of calculation of technological parameters of hole mandreling process according to analytical dependencies developed are in good agreement with experimental data.
