摘要
This study explores the link between nonwork orientation (concern for life roles beyond careers) and employee job crafting, emphasizing the mediating role of life satisfaction and the moderating effect of age, using 1-month time-lagged data from 305 Korean employees aged 23 to 58 (mean = 42.0, standard deviation (SD) = 8.5). The study confirmed the anticipated results, highlighting that the impact of life satisfaction on job crafting is stronger for younger employees (1 SD below the mean) than for older ones (1 SD above the mean). These findings provide valuable insights for career practitioners and policymakers considering employees' nonwork interests.
