摘要
3D printing is one of the fast-growing technology widely used all over globe. Fused deposit modeling (FDM) is one of the 3D printing technologies which creates physical objects from CAD models with the help fused thermoplastic filaments of Poly (lactic) acid (PLA), Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), etc. The goal of this study is to see how 3D printing parameters such as infill density and infill pattern effect the mechanical properties of Poly Lactic Acid (PLA). At 3 different infill densities (60%,75% and 90%) and 3 infill patterns (grid, triangle and gyroid), 3D printed PLA parts are examined for tensile strength measurements and the optimized parametric conditions are identified.
