摘要：

This is an attempt to delineate the importance of movie making in the dissemination and transmission of literature and to use comparative studies movie-literature as a means to motivate students' interest for both movies and literature. Thus, this article presents a comparative analysis of Edmond Rostand's Cyrano de Bergerac and two of its movie versions, one by Michael Gordon (1950), American, and the other by Jean-Paul Rappeneau (1990), French.
