The effective steady state rate constants for the bimolecular annihilation A + A --> 0 accompanied by unimolecular decay, A --> 0, and particle generation, S --> A, are calculated in spatial dimensions d = 1, 2, 3 using the fluctuation dissipation theory. Non-classical (concentration dependent) rate constants are found for the low dimensional systems (d = 1, 2) when the bimolecular process dominates unimolecular decay.
