OSCILLATORY WAVE-FUNCTION COLLAPSE IN A MESOSCOPIC SYSTEM

摘要
I consider two potential wells (A and B) with the exponentially weak interwell tunneling. I prove that only a specific time-dependent fluctuation leads to a (quick) hop of a quantum particle from A to B. This process is a mesoscopic model for the wave function collapse and the Mott hop. It may also be helpful in the study of time-dependent transport.
