LOW-PRESSURE DEPENDENCE OF THE OPTICAL-ABSORPTION SPECTRA OF DOPED POLYACETYLENE AND POLYPYRROLE

摘要
The optical absorption spectra of iodine doped polyacetylene and BF4- doped polypyrrole have been found to depend on the pressure in the pressure range below the atmospheric pressure. In iodine doped polyacetylene, the absorption in the gap is pressure independent, while the remaining interband transition depends on the pressure. In BF4- doped polypyrrole, the two bipolaron absorption bands depend on the pressure: the decrease of the absorption at 3.0 eV is accompanied by an increase of the peak at 1.0 eV and its shift towards lower energies.
