摘要：
The production of metal matrix composites utilizing explosive compaction has been studied. The effects of explosive thickness, impact energy and the ratio of explosive mass to powder mass on the compaction of a mixture of Al-SiC powders are detailed. Explosively compacted samples have been hot rolled and their mechanical properties compared with conventionally produced material.
