THE STRUCTURE OF ADSORPTION LAYERS OF CATIONIC SURFACTANTS ON HYDROPHOBIC SURFACES IN CONCENTRATED-SOLUTIONS OF ELECTROLYTES

摘要：
The adsorption of cationic surfactants on the surface of hydrophobic particles and their electrophoretic mobility in a wide concentration range of the dispersion medium electrolyte were studied. A calculation is proposed for the extent of the adsorption layer of cationic surfactants at the interface. This layer is responsible for the stability of disperse systems with the high electrolyte concentration.
