Revealed Comparative Advantage of Mexican Lemon: an analysis with Spain, Argentina and Turkey

摘要
This article presents the results of a scientific research on Mexican lemon. Its overall objective is to make a description of the behavior of lemon exports for the four major exporting countries, which include Mexico, Argentina, Spain and Turkey during the period from 2000 to 2012. After a theoretical review, the main economic indicators of major lemon exporting countries were identified; after that, it was established the general hypothesis of this research which is: Revealed Comparative Advantage of Mexican Lemon grew, compared to Spain, Argentina and Turkey, during the period 2000-2012. Results obtained identified the competitive level of the Mexican Lemon exporting sector compared to the other three countries.
