摘要：
Women often present to the primary care physician with complaints of abnormal uterine bleeding. The first step is to determine the pattern of the bleeding and whether the patient is ovulating. Many common menstrual abnormalities can be managed by the primary care physician with hormone therapy or other modalities. Selected patients will require endometrial biopsy and referral to a gynecologist.
