摘要
In addition to the rapid advancements in 3D Printing technology, this process has been enabled many innovative products to be developed. However, parts produced using additive manufacturing may have issues with surface roughness and dimensional accuracy. Manufacturing of thin walled parts, particularly which are used in aviation, aerospace and biomedicine requires a greater degree of dimensional accuracy. Therefore, it is important to control production parameters and reduced deviations from the actual dimensions. The major goal of this review paper is to look at the most recent improvements in metal 3D printing surface roughness and dimensional accuracy. 3D printing is a rapidly evolving technical pro-cess which has potential to modernize the way we manufacture components. Metals, ceramics, and poly-mers have all been discovered there. 3D printing has several advantages, includes: (a) Decrease in lead time (b) Lower price (c) Small quantity of parts not including the need for tooling or fixtures (d) Ability to fabricate near net shapes (e) Design freedom for simple and complex shapes (f) Ability to deal with conventional and specific materials.
