THE INFLUENCE OF ANISOTROPY AND NUCLEAR COUPLINGS ON THE MAGNETIC QUENCHING OF POSITRONIUM COMPLEXES

摘要
The magnetic field dependence of the lifetimes and energy slates of positronium complexes is calculated for a three-spin-1/2 system including an electron, a positron. and a nucleus. It is demonstrated that coupling of a magnetic nucleus and anisotropy of the system has a pronounced effect on the magnetic quenching behaviour, in particular near avoided crossings of magnetic energy levels.
