ACCUMULATION OF DRY SUBSTANCE MASS IN THE CUCUMBER ORGANS DEPENDING ON THE DIURNAL TEMPERATURE

摘要
It is shown that cucumber plants in ontogeny (growth stages: seed-, germ-, juvenile-, immature-, virgin stages) endure percentage variations in dry matter of different organs (leaves, stem with petioles, roots). Each growth phase is characterized by a constant percentage value of the leaf biomass which does not depend on temperature. The latter affects the dry matter distribution between a stem (hypocotyl) and a root. The obtained data may be related to systems of endorenic regulation functioning in cucumber.
