In this paper, the differential cross-sections of the inelastic scattering of alpha of energy 1.37 GeV on 2+, 3- excited states of C-12 are calculated by the method of the collective coordinate and high-energy cluster scattering theory. We think that the 2+ state of C-12 is a quadrupole rotational state, the 3- state of C-12 is an octupole vibrational state. The results are in agreement with experimental data.
