摘要
An analytical formulation is obtained for the salt concentration profiles developing in the porous substrate of asymmetric membranes under steady pressure-retarded-osmosis conditions. For such a situation, the steady-state convective-diffusion equation applied to a specific boundary values problem is solved analytically, assuming space-dependent diffusion coefficient and water flux for flat and cylindrical membrane configurations.
