摘要
A general non-isothermal model describing a single-component gas adsorption during pressurization with two mass intraparticle diffusions (macropore-micropore) and column axial flows has been studied. The column flow velocity is assumed to be obtained from Darcy's law. The results show that adsorption kinetics are not always a secondary effect, and that they play an important role in the column dynamics as well as do the adsorption equilibrium properties. A good agreement is obtained between numerical and experimental results of pressurization of various gases in a column packed with an activated carbon.
