ON MOMENTS MN(F(2)A) OF THE NUCLEAR-STRUCTURE FUNCTION F(2)A AT LARGE N

An analysis of the behavior of nuclear structure functions F2A at large x and of their moments M(n)A at large n has been performed within an effective meson-nucleon theory. The theoretical estimates of the nuclear structure function at x greater-than-or-equal-to 1 are in good agreement with the existing data. The moments derived from the experimental data are found to depend essentially on the behavior of the respective structure function beyond x=1. The Q2-rescaling parameter xi(A) is analyzed in terms of nuclear structure, and a dependence of xi(A) on n is established.
