摘要：
The paper explores the now widespread use of the term "successful rural area" and influence of selected endogenous and exogenous determinants of rural socio-economic success. It is shown that both groups of determinants of rural success are very strongly interconnected. The multidisciplinary research is necessary for understanding and explanation of spatially differentiated rural development success.
