摘要：
Single-phase compounds Er2Fe17-xGaxC2 (x = 0, 1, 2, 3, 4) were studied. A series of transformations between rhombohedral phase (x = 0, 4) and hexagonal phase (x = 1-3) were observed. Two-step magnetic transitions were found in the Ga-containing carbides. Both the lower transition temperatures and the higher transition temperatures were significantly decreased by the addition of Ga.
