SELENIUM IN MEDICINAL PLANT OF THE RUSSIAN FLORA

摘要
We have studies 192 species from 44 families. We have revealed 112 species with selenium content exceeds its Clark's values for plants, and 32 species failing in 15 families have pronounced capacity to accumulate this element from soil. Siberian liquorice, common meliot (legumes), weeping birch (birches), field ephedra (Ephedraceae), Eucaliptus cinereus (Mirtaceae), and field horsetail (Equisetales) showed the highest rate of selenium accumulation. We propose the above species as potential selenium sources for correction its deficit in man.
