U(IV) AND U(VI) POLAROGRAPHIC-DETERMINATION IN THE PRESENCE OF EDTA FROM URANIUM-OXIDES AND SALTS

The paper studied the U(IV) and U(VI) polarographic behaviour in the EDTA presence and absence, in order to work out uranium determination methods, in the two oxidation states, i.e. from salts and oxides, on 0.1M NaClO4 support and at pH = 3 for U(IV) and pH = 4 for U(VI). The method can be applied to a determination of 0.1-1 m M U(IV)-EDTA and U(VI)-EDTA, at a relative error of +/-1%.
