SUBJECTIVE-PROBABILITY - REPRESENTATION AND DERIVATION METHODS

This paper is a survey study devoted to the concept of subjective probability that occurs in simulating human decision-making under conditions of uncertainty. Both of its fundamental forms-quantitative and qualitative-are examined. Results concerning the possibility of a numerical representation of qualitative probability are given. The primary methods used in expert assessment of subjective probabilities are described.
