摘要：
This article is an updating of the report written in 1976, to the position in 1979. The author first deals with the development of capacities and consumption, and then discusses developments in various areas for LDPE and copolymers. The article also includes LDPE made by low pressure processes (1-LDPE). For figures see German text.
