摘要
A natural language man-machine interface (NLMMI) is described with innovative learning capabilities in the field of computer-based measurement systems. Such an interface has been designed not only to receive the user’s messages expressed in the nonrigorous form which is typical of the human language and to execute them by means of the measurement routines available in the system, but what is more significant, to learn new user’s ways of expressing commands, new measurement procedures and new definitions of electrical quantities or mathematical functions. © 1990 IEEE
