摘要
Kresge Library offered virtual reference service unsuccessfully to its patrons at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business multiple times, beginning in 1997. However, the technology of instant messaging made a difference that caused the service to take off and get the appropriate staff support. (C) 2006 by The Haworth Press, Inc. All rights reserved.
