摘要
The author constructs a variant of the nonlinear shell theory of Timoshenko type based on the representation of the rotation vector in the form of the sum of two components, another vector of the rotations of the fibers normal to sigma according to the Kirchhoff-Love model and an additional vector that takes into account the transversal components of the strain tensor of the shell. The resolving equations of the theory turn out to be quasilinear under arbitrary displacements of a linear-elastic shell if the strains of the transversal reduction and the squares of the strains of the transversal shears can be neglected in comparison with unity.
