摘要
A cathode unit and electron gun generating a ribbon beam are described. The specific power (50-10(4) W/cm) is controlled by the cathode heating current and accelerating voltage. The electron-beam current is 20-500 mA, the electron energy is 1-15 keV, and the beam dimensions are (0.5-3.0) x (15-150) mm. Replacing the wire cathode (W, W+Al) leaves the beam parameters unchanged. The dimensions of the encased gun are 95 x 100 x 120 nun, and it weighs 2 kg.
