摘要
In previous work [1] we have pointed out the very high toxicity of mercuric iodide (HgI2) towards unsupported nickel and palladium particles in 1-hexene hydrogenation. Moreover, for both catalysts, we found that poison molecules number required for total deactivation was close to metal particles vertices number. In this paper we compare our previous results with new experimental data obtained with other catalysts, other reactants and another poison.
