AQUEOUS ELECTROCHEMICAL SYNTHESIS OF YBA2CU3O7-X SUPERCONDUCTORS

摘要
Aqueous solutions containing yttrium, barium, and copper ions were examined for the feasibility of obtaining super-conducting films (YBa2Cu3O7-x) via electrochemical methods. The reasearch considered co-precipitation of all three ions simultaneously as hydroxides. After high-temperature treatment, the flims showed superconducting characteristics. However low and broad transition temperatures were observed when measuring the magnetic susceptibility temperature dependenc.
