The amplitudes for processes like BBAR --> D-pi- and BBAR --> D*-pi- are dominated by factorizable contributions which relate these amplitudes to the semileptonic form factors in BBAR --> De-nuBAR(e) and BBAR --> D*e-nuBAR(e). Factorization, together with heavy quark symmetry, leads to absolute predictions for ratios of decay rates. For example, GAMMA(BBAR --> D-pi-)/GAMMA(BBAR --> D*pi-) = 1. We calculate perturbative strong interaction corrections to factorization and discuss their influence on the ratio of decay rates GAMMA(BBAR --> D-pi-)/GAMMA(BBAR --> D*pi-). The decays BBAR --> D-rho- and BBAR --> D*rho- are also discussed.
