摘要
A previously reported 2.5-cm3 magic-angle spinning (MAS) device Is shown to provide major enhancements In signal to noise ratlos (S/N) for single-pulse (SP) and cross-polarization (CP) MAS analyses with 13C, 15N, and 29Si at 4.7 T. The increased S/N makes it possible to obtain useful 15N CP-MAS spectra of synthetic polymers and proteins in natural abundance. A newly developed 6.0-cm3 MAS device dramatically Improves the efficiency of 29SI SP-MAS analyses of a variety of silicon-containing samples (e.g., ceramics, zeolites, silica), often making It possible to obtain analytically useful spectra with a single scan. © 1990, American Chemical Society.
