摘要：
A simple method of analyzing symmetries of a line drawing is presented. The procedure consists of three stages: (1) computing the axes of 'microsymmetry' for pairs of microsegments based on the mean square error criterion, (2) mapping the axes into two-dimensional parameter space, and (3) detecting the peaks in the parameter space to obtain the global axes of symmetry.
