ACADEMIC LEADERS 'TRAINING ON THE EDUCATIVE MODEL MANAGEMENT: A NEW PROPOSAL

摘要
The development of science, communication and nowadays technologies present new challenges to society development and Higher Education institutions are not apart from these challenges. It makes it necessary that the University has to improve the management all its processes to fulfill the university's mission and respond to the society's demands to respect to professional education with a humanistic view and social commitment. A very important role is performed within the Educative Model, for which correct implementation and improvement the academic leaders are crucial. To fulfill this aim it is necessary to contribute to their training on the Educative Model Management. For the development of this investigation several methods on the theoretical and empirical levels were used, all supported on the application of different techniques that allowed the researchers to diagnose the training needs of the academic leaders to manage the Educative Model. The elements stated are the foundations of the proposal. Thus, the objective of the present paper is to approach to a new training proposal for academic leaders that contribute to the management of the Educative Model. The importance of the investigation lies on the possibility to implement an education alternative that make to possible to improve the academic leaders' performance to achieve a greater efficacy in the professional education as demanded by society.
