摘要
This article examines the relationship between new media technologies and religious marketing. Specifically, it looks at how the LDS/Mormon Church employs Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques to influence online search results. The author acknowledges the reasonable motivations behind and the ethical practice of the LDS Church's SEO efforts; however, the article also brings up philosophical questions about religions applying proactive/ aggressive business marketing strategies.
