摘要：
A number of criteria under which there are no nonzero compact elements in operator algebras associated with discrete groups of automorphisms are obtained. The corresponding applications to the algebras generated by weight composition operators in C(X, E) and L mu p(X, E) 1 less than or equal to p less than or equal to infinity are provided.
