THE SYSTEM CAO-SIO2-CACL2-PHASE EQUILIBRIA AND POLYMORPHS BELOW 1000-DEGREES-C - AN INTERPRETATION ON GARBAGE COMBUSTION ASHES

摘要
The system CaO-SiO2-CaCl2, the binary system SiO2-CaCl2 and two pseudobinary systems were studied at 3 different temperatures below 1000-degrees-C. Indexed X-ray powder data of four ternary compounds with different modifications, their thermal behaviour, IR-spectra and SEM micrographs are given. With Ca10(Si2O7)3Cl2 a silicateapatite-like compound was found. The liquidus in the chloride rich part of the system was examined.
